🍜A Vacation in a Bowl🍜

After an intense day of smiling and dialing and hoping for a close in the wonderful world 🌎 of remote sales, I yearned for a change of scenery and a bowl of something comforting. The idea of swimming 😂🤣, oops I meant indulging in a bowl of spicy vegan ramen at JINYA Ramen Bar in Atlanta seemed like the perfect escape. Despite the somewhat lengthy drive separating Douglasville from Atlanta , I was eager to embark on this mini-adventure because it’s 2025 and I have got to start getting out of the house more.

The journey along I-20 East was smooth sailing and much needed, and as I approached Atlanta like an astronaut on a mission, the city’s vibrant skyline came into view, signaling a shift from the suburban tranquility of Douglasville to the lively energy of the metropolis. Arriving at JINYA Ramen Bar, I was welcomed by a warm ambiance and the inviting aroma of simmering broths.

I opted for the Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen, a delightful combination of vegetable broth, tofu, onion, green onion, spinach, crispy onion, garlic chips, garlic oil, chili oil, and sesame seeds, served with thick noodles, I usually get them with thin noodles but the thicker ones were perfect . The first sip of the rich, spicy broth instantly melted away the day’s stress, transporting me like spaceship quickly and efficiently to a state of bliss.

The meal was more than just sustenance; it was like an invigorating mini vacation calming my senses and providing a much-needed break from my regular routine. If I would have chosen the hot instead of the spicy the harmonious blend of flavors in the ramen would have mirrored the diverse and dynamic spirit of HotAtlanta itself.
